Customers getting Free meals

How about this one, customer eats 80 percent of the food, waits til its cold and then complains that the food is too cold and the fries were too greesy, when out of a full container maybe 4 fries and little pieces of chicken tenders. So I say screw it, tired of the complaints, giver her a salad with no dressing, put the dressing on the side in three seperate containers, then comes to me 20 minutes later and asks for more lettuce because the salad has too much dressing?
I will tell you, never work for corporate restaurants, I find that they are spoiled.
Hell they expect you to bend over backwards, complained to my manager because i was taking a break? hell with them i was covered, Must be nice that they can take 30 minutes or a hour and not expect the cook to do the same?
Oh lets see, First they complained about music we were playing, they didnt like the irish music, then they complained it was too loud when they told us to play just 80s now they said we can't play music, God if i were in a public restaurant i wouldn't serve them.
The only thing is the damn benefits
but the people are crazy

It's not just corporate, I'm sad to say. The restaurant I worked at for 5 years was pretty cool about not letting people walk all over us, but this new place... sheesh. You can go in & pretty much demand anything, regardless of how outlandish & get it. Makes me want to vomit.

i've had people eat all but one bite of the pair of pork chops and wanted another because it had gotten cold. the person had eaten all of both the other sides and expected those on the plate as well. they basically got a two for one deal and i think had the entire meal comped anyway.

also once recently i had a "see server" on the ticket - they wated no sauce on the chops substitute mashed potatoes. now even though i did it i told the server they should be charging the table for an extra side. -- the joke turned into hey i don't want fries with my steak so just give me two steaks...

I love seeing 2 oz. of filet from an 8 0z steak, comming back in the kitchen and the waiter saying they said it was overcooked.
And you want me to do what about it?It looks to me like they enjoyed it,charge em.
